This restaurant masterfully blends traditional southern flavors with a modern twist, crafting dishes that resonate comfort while delivering a fresh culinary experience.
Braise’s menu is a celebration of bold, robust tastes and carefully considered textures. Start your meal with shareable delights like the Braise Wings—jumbo wings generously tossed in your choice of Buffalo, Dry Rub, or Garlic Chili Sauce, each bite crunchy, spicy, and irresistibly saucy. For a delightful crunch and rich flavor fusion, the Chicharron Nachos layer fresh pork rinds with pork belly lardons and a creamy pimiento cheese sauce, accented by a spicy Eastern NC sauce that wakes up your palate. The Ricotta Flatbread offers a lighter yet savory option, crowned with roasted tomatoes, garlic, and a bright pesto drizzle, perfect for pairing with a crisp beverage.
Soups and salads don't disappoint either—try the Southwest Chicken & Rice Soup brimming with smoky poblano, roasted corn, and tender shredded chicken, or indulge in the Braise Cobb, a hearty house salad topped with house-smoked turkey, ripe avocado, savory bacon, and creamy bleu cheese, creating a harmonious balance of freshness and richness.
When it comes to sweets, Braise truly shines with its decadent dessert offerings. The Chocolate Mousse Tower is a heavenly union of white, dark, and milk chocolate layers, dripping with luscious dark chocolate syrup. If you crave something a little lighter, the Seasonal Sorbet offers a refreshing finish, while the Ultimate Chocolate Cake and NY Cheesecake bring comfort in every bite, perfectly ending your Southern dining journey.

We booked 330pm versus the last booking of 4 pm. The turkey and especially the roasted beef was very dry and overcooked. The meat cutter said more roasted beef is coming but never came. The desserts were not replenished at all. The servers were all talking together and no one came to check if we need anything.

While I may not stay at the Marriott each visit, I do try to visit the restaurant. Why? 1. Going downtown is a pain and the mall is crowded. Braise is easily accessible, plentiful parking nice sized facility and wonderful staff. Last night it was Justin and Jennifer. Both professional, attentive, funny and a joy to be around. So...Great staff. 2. Great food, I have never had a bad meal, food is priced to compete/beat other restaurants in the area and by far the ambiance is tops in the area. Great food. 3. Great food and service with excellence convenience.

Food, and it could've been me sweating to much from hiking all day, but, I had to add salt to everything. I hate salt. Don't get me wrong, it easily could've been me. The soup was on point. Falafel burger on point. A couple things fell a little short. The hummus. Nooooooo. But the bartender made up for it.
